The Best Spaceship (over 10) - No prize was awarded.
There were 4 Commended and 2 Highly Commended entries.
As no prize was awarded for this category, we awarded 2 prizes in:

12 and Rebecca Marsden - Aged 15
There were 7 Commended entries.
Best Alien (under 10) - We only have the name Andrew

We would like to thank all those who took the trouble
to enter and hope you all enjoyed the opportunity to compete for the
prizes.
We were told that this exhibition
received the best publicity in the press and entertainment magazines
for a visiting exhibition at this museum. We would like to thank Bob
Scott (Acting Director) for hosting the exhibition and the following
members of the team: Colin Buckman, Val Smith, Gill Flynn, Amanda Bunney,
Samantha, Janet and all the other staff that helped to make this a pleasurable
venture.

City Museum & Art Gallery, Queen's Road,
Bristol, BS8 1RL
This exhibition has now ended.
The close of this exhibition brought a final attendance
figure of 120,000 for the series.
Bristol Museums put a tremendous amount of work into providing themed
weekends to accompany the show. These were very well attended and we
had a very large number of high quality entries for the four Eagle Society
drawing competitions. The attendance of Don Harley and Greta Tomlinson
for the Cartoon Art Day was very much appreciated.
We would like to thank Sandra
Stancliffe and her colleagues for their hard work and commitment to
the show and to the Mayor of Bristol for taking the time to open the
exhibition.

Osborne-Robinson Gallery, Central Museum,
Guildhall Rd, Northampton, NN1 1DP
This exhibition has now ended.
The final attendance figure for this exhibition was
33,000. This was a milestone in the series of shows and brings the total
attendance close to 100,000. The Frank Bellamy Day was not as well supported
as we had hoped, especially as Frank was a wonderful local illustrator
and a very full day of events included a comprehensive display of his
original Eagle artwork.
Our thanks to Peter Field and
his team in Northampton for hosting and supporting a most successful
show. Additionally, we would like to thank Nancy Bellamy, Terry Doyle,
Bill Naylor, Paul Holder and Norman Boyd for their efforts to make the
Frank Bellamy Day a success.

Falmouth Art Gallery, Municipal Building,
The Moor, Falmouth, TR11 2RT
This exhibition has now ended.
As a result of a great deal of hard work locally,
the attendance at this exhibition was close to 7,000 in just five weeks.
We would like to thank Brian Stewart and his team for their enthusiasm
and commitment, which contributed to this success. In addition, the
support of the local council was very much appreciated by us.
This was a unique exhibition in that it principally
featured artwork rather than toys, merchandise and memorabilia. As it
was reasonably straight forward to install, with little construction
work, we would be more than happy to arrange this type of exhibition
in the future.

Bourne Hall Museum, Spring Street, Off London
Road, Ewell, Surrey
This exhibition has now ended after an extended run.
The highlight of the event was the unveiling of a
plaque on Bayford Lodge, the home of Frank Hampson and his family, dedicated
to him and the studio that operated in the house. A limited edition
souvenir brochure was produced by Howard Smith through Eagle Exhibitions
to commemorate the occasion and we are told that it has already become
a collector's item.
We particularly thank Joan Porter
for her help in preparing the brochure and for the article she contributed,
Peter Hampson and Alan Calson (Mayor of Epsom and Ewell Borough Council)
for unveiling the plaque and Don Harley and Greta Tomlinson for representing
the Dan Dare artistic team.
On the organisational front,
we would like to thank Jeremy Harte for arranging the day and the 'Space
Breakfast' that proceeded the unveiling.
